Our online store is hosted by Shopify, which provides the ecommerce platform that allows us to sell our products and services.

These terms apply when you visit editionworks.com or order from us. They should be read with our Privacy Policy, Shipping Policy and Return and Refund Policy:

Nothing in these terms limits or excludes any rights you have under applicable consumer law.

3. USING OUR WEBSITE

You may use our website only for lawful purposes. You must not misuse the website, introduce malicious code, attempt unauthorised access, scrape or copy content unlawfully, interfere with the website’s operation, or use it in a way that infringes another person’s rights.

You are responsible for keeping any account credentials secure and for ensuring that information you provide is accurate and current.

4. PRODUCTS AND PERSONALISATION

We take reasonable care to describe and display our products accurately. Colours and finishes may appear slightly different depending on your screen, lighting and the natural characteristics of the material.

Please check all names, ages, wording, colours and other personalisation carefully before placing your order. We produce personalised items using the information submitted with the order. We are not responsible for errors supplied or approved by the customer, although we will always try to help where reasonably possible.

Product images may include props or decorations that are not included unless the description says otherwise.

5. ORDERS AND CONTRACT FORMATION

Submitting an order is an offer to buy from us. A contract is formed when we send an order confirmation and accept payment. We may refuse or cancel an order where, for example, a product is unavailable, information is incomplete, a payment cannot be authorised, the price is clearly incorrect, or we reasonably suspect fraud or misuse.

If we cannot accept an order, we will contact you and refund any payment taken.

Because most products are made to order, changes or cancellations may not be possible after production begins. Contact hello@editionworks.com as soon as possible if you need help with an order.

6. PRICES, PAYMENT AND PROMOTIONS

Prices are shown in pounds sterling unless stated otherwise. Any applicable UK VAT is included in the displayed price. Delivery charges, if any, are shown before checkout.

Payment must be authorised at checkout. Promotions, bundle prices and discount codes may have separate conditions, expiry dates and exclusions. Unless expressly stated, offers and discount codes cannot be combined.

If a price is obviously incorrect, we may contact you before dispatch to offer the correct price or cancel the order and issue a refund.

7. PRODUCTION, DELIVERY AND RISK

Products are normally made and dispatched within 1–2 working days. Delivery times are estimates and do not include production time, weekends or UK bank holidays. Full delivery information is set out in our Shipping Policy.

We are responsible for the goods until they are delivered to you or to a person you identify to receive them. If delivery is delayed by an event outside our reasonable control, we will contact you where practicable and take reasonable steps to minimise the delay.

Please provide a complete and accurate delivery address. Contact us immediately if you notice an error. We cannot guarantee that an address can be changed after production or dispatch.

8. RETURNS, CANCELLATIONS AND FAULTY GOODS

Goods made to your specifications or clearly personalised are generally excluded from the statutory change-of-mind cancellation right. This does not affect your rights where an item is faulty, damaged, incorrect or not as described.

Nothing in these terms affects your statutory rights, including rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015.

9. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY

The website and its content, including our product designs, photographs, graphics, branding, text and videos, are owned by or licensed to Edition Works and are protected by intellectual property law. You may view the website and keep copies of order information for personal use, but you must not reproduce, sell, publish or commercially exploit our content without written permission.

10. REVIEWS AND CONTENT YOU SUBMIT

If you send us a review, photograph or other content, you confirm that you have the right to provide it and that it is accurate, lawful and does not infringe another person’s rights.

Where you clearly agree that content may be used for marketing, you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide and royalty-free licence to reproduce and display it for that purpose. You may withdraw permission for future use by contacting us, although this will not affect use already lawfully made.

11. THIRD-PARTY SERVICES AND LINKS

Our website may use or link to services provided by Shopify and other third parties, such as payment, delivery, analytics or social-media services. Third-party sites have their own terms and privacy policies. We are not responsible for content or services provided by a third party, except where the law makes us responsible.

Purchases from this store are made directly from Edition Works, not Shopify.

12. OUR RESPONSIBILITY TO YOU

We do not exclude or limit liability where it would be unlawful to do so. This includes liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, and your statutory consumer rights.

We are not responsible for losses that were not reasonably foreseeable when the contract was formed. Products sold through this website are intended for domestic and private use; we are not responsible for business losses such as lost profits, revenue or opportunity.

13. EVENTS OUTSIDE OUR CONTROL

We are not responsible for a failure or delay caused by events outside our reasonable control. If such an event significantly affects your order, we will contact you where practicable. Your legal rights, including any right to cancel where applicable, remain unaffected.

14. CHANGES TO THESE TERMS

We may update these terms to reflect changes to our services, business or the law. The version in force when you place an order will apply to that order. Material changes will be posted on this page with an updated date.

15. GOVERNING LAW

These terms and any contract between you and us are governed by the laws of England and Wales. If you live elsewhere in the United Kingdom, you may also bring proceedings in the courts of the country where you live. If you live outside the United Kingdom, any mandatory consumer protections that apply in your country are not affected.
